Released in her native U.K. in 2007, Alison Moyet's THE TURN is the earthy R&B singer's first solo album in four years, following 2003's THE VOICE. Belatedly released in the U.S. to coincide with the temporary reunion of her beloved early 1980s synth duo, Yaz (with Vince Clarke of Erasure and Depeche Mode), THE TURN is nonetheless far more in keeping with the jazzy R&B of her more recent solo albums.
