Very entertaining
The acting isn't the greatest, and some of the scenes (Vi's disembodied head on the table) may cause a chuckle, but this is definitely entertaining! The well-written script carries the film, and the ghost special effects are very good for the era. If this had been cast with A-list actors, and the musical score tweaked (sometimes the background music is too loud and/or sleazy), TORMENTED could stand with the best of film noir as the story of a man haunted by guilt. The title song is perfect, and the inclusion of the blind landlady was an inspired touch. It's not Alfred Hitchcock, but it's fun.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Gebraucht
