Niche quality for a really good price.
I first tried the original EN a few years ago when it had not long been released. I love it, extremely long lasting and a really nice unusual scent that grabs compliments. Has a very premium quality about it that you don't really get from other brands of a similar price. The L`extreme version is similar to the original but has a smoothness to it that makes it great for evenings. I wear it any time I can when it's cooler weather. The best thing about it is that it's not a super generic smell that everyone wears, so if you have good taste and want to smell a bit different then grab a bottle of this. Perfect , simply perfect.
If you're looking for a long lasting edp you've found it ! This lalique encre noir l' extreme is so suave , sophisticated , and classy. It's the type of edp that when you walk from room to room, you smell this amazing aroma , and think wow that's so nice, then you remember , you're wearing it ! It doesn't disappoint . It is a keeper . It's definitely amongst my top 10. If you're fed up with the overused typical (creed) etc. The encre noir l' extreme will put you league's above the masses. Superb for layering or in it’s own right
The opening is fresh and zesty, even get a bergamot from it but then the Mr Hyde dry down starts. This is a great conversation starter, it is, after all called noir so the dry down turns into a journey of darkness and i have had many a woman ( not young sauvage girls) come up to make and ask what i am wearing. The opening is fresh, the dry down turns it dark but fruity and , finally, you get a very similar but more metallic version of the very expensive nasamatto black afgano. Be brave, at this price who cares. Personally i love being different and would hate having the same EDP on as most others. He who dares, wins. This is also a very good base upon which to layer other EDP’s. I like to use one spray of black afgano by nasamatto to 3 sprays of this, mix it then apply to wrists, upper chest, back of neck and back of hands, most people never spray their hands. My verdict Projection 6/10 Sillage 7/10 Garners compliments 6/10 Price 25/10 Longevity. 5/10 on skin, 7/10 on clothes Price: no brainier Highly recommended. I will not be without it, it also layers incredibly well, with florals. Don’t laugh but experiment, think out of the box. I have niche frags that cost me £400 but never get noticed. More of an evening thing.
This has a woody dark odour, best suited for an evening out. Last pretty well and gains good comments. The only thing I would say that needs improving is the spray nozzle the outlet is hard to see, but that said you cant go far wrong.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

All looks and no substance.
I had big expectations for Eau de Parfum especially when the brand is Lalique. Yet, it was was all looks and no substance; just sheer alcohol and depleted perfume. I do not know the reasons but won't recommend it to anyone.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Gebraucht

ok..but not the real thing
i have not worn it that often. its well packaged, lots of syntethic chemicals, but for the price the perfumier have done a good job , long lasting for sure..a bit too powerful for the firstr 2 hours...it mellows well , wish they could charge a bit more and work with some pure oilsBestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

Less harsh
A L’Extreme is a much more fully realised version of Encre Noire. The vetiver has been tamed and warmer notes added, a little citrus at the beginning, too. It’s a lovely composition that shares more of a lineage with Chanel’s Sycomore than it does with the original Encre Noire.
