Needs to be made briter.
All the indicators are too dim. Even with the dim control turned all the way up it is nearly impossible to read the channels, frequency, and especially reading the SWR meter is difficult. The best way to operate the radio is in a dimly lite room. I have seen where some CB shops install LEDs in the meter which makes a big difference. These 72 year old eyes need all the help they can get. MAKE EVERYTHING BRIGHTEDR. Other than that I really like the radio very much. More Bright!

Galaxy DX 2547 is my new favorite hobby radio .
Good working and easy to use transceiver , this was an open box purchase , sold at a very good price and so far I'm not disappointed ! First contact late one evening was from Maine , I'm in California ! I do recommend this unit .

Could not understand me. Not too good of a rating yet
The two people I talk to said it was braking up and Could not understand me. Not too good of a rating yet. Also can’t read the Chanel selector during day time looks like it’s on Chanel 88 also had to paint dots on nobs so you know what positions there in . Wish I could find some one to fix my old Uniden Washington Witch was a Whole lot easier to use.

It’s a very nice base station. Has plenty of features and is easy to use. If you’re looking for a cb base station with SSB this is a must buy. I’m very happy.

Galaxy base station
Best base Cb i have ever owned. Peaked and tuned Rec is excellent. Couldn’t ask for a better set up I’m getting out farther than ever before thanks for a great tuned radio

Great base station radio talks very clean with great modulation.
Very nice radio and works great, already have gotten good reports talking the long distant dx skip on sideband and that's barefoot with a Antron 99 antenna also love the Galaxy noise control system built into this radio, you hear the voice much better over the back ground noise which can get pretty loud when dx is very strong , highly recommend this radio .

DOA!!Did not light up. Main board was completely loose!!
DOA,reciever for power cord on back broke!The main power board is loose from the radio!pcs.on front of radio missing.It is the worst I have ever bought on EBay!Shipped in mfg.box only,one small pc.of bubble wrap inside.no packing!should have beenPut in larger box.

NO go out of the Box
Unit looks good however the controls that count for operation are in the wrong place. The RF output was less than one watt and the meter did not display any readings on transmit. Overall the unit performance did not meet specs as stated. Would not recommend.
