Nice piece of kit that extends the the time before a battery exchange.
The Canon BG-E21 is a well shaped and easy to handle battery grip. Yes it will increase the weight of the camera but a battery exchange will not be needed so fast. Twice the capacity is what you have on offer now. I own a Canon and use a BGE-14 for this camera. After two years the rubberised lining came loose. The camera has been used for about 40k exposures. I hope that the lining of the BG-E21 will last longer.

Great Piece of equipment !
One thing is - portrait photography got easier just by holding camera straight. Second thing is - battery power has doubled. It did get heavier but you can grip it well and you don't have to rotate your wrist to hold it "portrait" anymore. Also on the weight - it becomes as heavy as 1D-x (so don't complain.) Quality of this BG-E21 is OEM. Buttons are very firm and the shutter button is sensitive to focus "pre-click". Love it, use it, recommend it.

Fits perfectly!
Fits perfectly, feels durable, gives my 6D ii a more professional look. It can add some weight to the camera especially if you have an L series lens but it does take after market LP-E6N batteries so it’s good. Used the camera for a full day of wedding, a trip to Bali and I never had to worry about recharging while on the go (and I used Live View a lot.)

Very Useful
I bought this new on E-bay for less than $100 and at that price it is very useful. I wouldn't pay anything close to Canon's full price for it because that's way too expensive. It's well designed and allows you to use two batteries in the 6D Mark II and also places the shutter release and thumb-wheel in the upper right corner of the camera when using it in a vertical orientation. That makes it a lot easier to use since the buttons are in their normal position. The downside is it makes the camera very large and much heavier than it is without the battery grip. That can be an issue if you are walking around with the battery pack and a large lens. Overall, it's useful at times, but only at a discount off of Canon's normally outrageous price.

Nice addition
I decided to add this to my camera, because I needed to have 2 batteries inside instead of one as it only fits in camera. This item is build well, and work as intended. Now I do not have to worry about battery failure. Easier to take portraits with battery grip. 5☆☆☆☆☆.

excellent quality and performance
excellent quality. Dont buy third party. Its a noticeable increase in quality of the third party. Very nice product if you are using heavy lenses or shooting a ton of photos. Does add quite a bit of mass and weight though.

great add on
This is a great product that allows for easier vertical pictures, while extending battery life and providing more grip functionality. The trade off is extra weight but it is worth it for me.

Canon Battery Grips
I’ve made the mistake of purchasing off brand products before, with very disappointing results. The Canon brand grips are always reliable and work like correctly right out of the box!!

Keeps my camera operational for longer hours
I dont have to worry about carrying extra battery. Enables me to work with my camera for long hours of shoot. Arrived very fast.

Canon qualify shows in fit and function
This battery grip does exactly what it’s designed to do - add battery power to double the number of shots between charges and to add vertical control to the camera.
