SIM Max D Driver
I like the look and feel of the SIM Max D driver , but the sound of the ball coming off the face is a dull thud which I am not so sure of. I am not hitting it any further than my M4 D type but there is less spin therefore its straighter.

Hitting It Further & Straighter
Has corrected my slice, I’m hitting the ball straighter now and getting more distance as a result. Have set it so that the club face is more closed upon setup behind the ball. Excellent club & sounds great upon ball impact also 👍🏻

Choosing a shaft
Try out the different standard shafts. You may need custom fit. Get help. Age 79 I ended up with an A shaft shortened half an inch with a standard grip plus 4 wraps.

Booooom
Great club nice feel and sound to it. And great distance I'm getting between 10-20yds more distance than my old driver

M1 driver head
I bought the driver head only and fitted it to my existing Taylormade shaft which I was very happy with. After a bit. Of adjusting for fade and loft it works really well.

Taylormade SIM driver
New Taylormade SIM driver. Upgraded from M6. Ultimately personal choice but very pleased with purchase. One comment is that sound somewhat dull in sound. Important to get fitted with correct shaft to maximise potential of new club. Although difference between new and older M6 may be marginal it looks the buzz.

Amazing what the difference is.
Had the M1 and liked that club until the face spilt so had to buy a driver, liked the look of the M3 and wow can’t believe the numbers I am getting on the launch monitor. Really pleased with it highly recommend one
