Missing a few obvious design details. Otherwise, a clear, nice camera
The image quality of this camera is excellent. It's plug-and-play. But there are a couple of design oversights that perplex me. Logitech did not consider the case where someone might want to mount their camera a little "off center, angled inward." So basically to achieve this I had to "break" the built-in inflexible mount, and stack up a bunch of 3M padded double-sided tape shims to fasten it where I wanted it. I would recommend that Logitech put some more thought into the mount. A mini ball-mount would be ideal.
Secondly, why is there no control-panel software available for the Mac? Logitech has long been a provider of wonderful Mac peripherals, so it's surprising that the Mac is a second-class citizen, as far as the Brio is concerned. It would be nice to be able to add a color LUT to the video stream, and be able to access the different fields-of-view, on a Mac. No such luck. Fortunately, I do like the default wide (90-degree) field of view better than I thought I would. For this price, there should be software available for Macs.
Lastly, the built-in microphone is OK, but I use a USB microphone on my desk, and it sounds better (based on testing with friends over teleconference).
