I’ve had my Sonicare for around 10yrs and it finally took a dump on me probably more of my fault than anything. My wife has had hers just as long and it’s still running strong. I wouldn’t buy any other tooth brush.
I love Sonicare toothbrushes, when they work. Unfortunately, I’ve had two brushes die on me pretty quickly. The first was after a couple of years, long enough to be off warranty but way too soon for a brush as expensive as this. More recently, a replacement head came with a faulty battery. I got two charges out if it before the 30 day return window closed. I hear this is a common problem, which is really sad. My advice: buy the extra warranty.
Just got it last week but so far it has performed just like the the toothbrush it is replacing. That one lasted 5+ years so we'll see how durable this one proves to be
