Very sharp and a great value
The lens doesn't look impressive, with its small front element. It is small and light. But oh my goodness is it ever sharp! I bought it for scanning negatives, along with the Nikon ES-2 digitizer set. It is an easy matter to use focus peaking and focus magnification to focus right down to the film grain. Olympus 30mm 3.5 ED Micro 4/3 Macro lens
I wasn't sure about this lens but after receiving it I was amazed at how sharp it is. I can't say enough about how happy I am for buying this lens. It wasn't for me but my daughter who will be using it for her scientific work in archeology research. Awesome little lens.
Amazing range - from infinity down to super close up and so I tend to keep it on the camera a lot. Very lightweight and compact. Very sharp and terrific color and contrast. Fast autofocus! Love this lens.
