Nice Router But Not Very Sturdy
These Belkin router are cheap and easy to set up. They work very well if you get a good one. My old one is at least 5 years old and still going strong. However, the last 2 AC1600s that I bought weren't any good. Bought a new one from THE large on-line retailer and it was DOA. Of course their minimal packaging (read none) probably did it in. Bought a used one here, and it lasted about a week. Worked very well until I started upgrading the Cat cables, and it suddenly quit. I think I must have been too rough and broke something. Went back to my old one and it is working just fine. Bottom line, always have a backup or 2. They seem to make them cheaper all the time.

Good router with some limitations.
The router is one in a line of three that I have owner over the years. This model 1600 while faster than the 600 model that failed does not have the same broadcast range. If I did not already own a WiFi extender this could have been a disappointment. Forget the complicated set up from the internet, just hook it up and set your devices up individually, its much faster.

Good router, difficult to set up.
This router works very well. It is good quality, a good value and a nice size. The only issue is the instructions to set it up were very vague and it took us a long time to read between the lines.

This was one of the best wireless routers i have ever used , works with every cable provider ,links up quickly , was very inexpensive as well ,.

Belkin AC1600
If you are using Satellite internet, I could not get it to work after spending hours with Belkin and Hughes Net we could not get it to work. On a positive side, if you only use tablets if seemed to work fine with the tablets. Synced right up.

Easy to configure and synch in with existing wifi network
I set it up as an Access Point and with some minor configuration it was synched in with my home network and other wireless routers. Having the two bands (2.4 / 5) being able to automatically go up/down based on the device is really nice. Very discreet as well - no obtrusive antennas sticking out.

Spend your money on another brand.
Can't connect to subnet 1 easily and doesn't always recognize new devices.
