The Fix for Heat Related Fuel Boilover
If you are looking to prevent your Holley's fuel from boiling over due to heat soak, this small heat shield does the trick. There are larger heat shields, but this smaller one works just as well and isn't as unsightly. Today's gas has a MUCH lower boiling point than fuel from the past due to the added ethanol and this shield provides a barrier between the carb bowls and the intake manifold runners. So if you experience fuel percolation out the main booster or accelerator pump nozzle after engine shutdown, accompanied with a flooded or hard restart, try this inexpensive solution.
