great book,buy it
it covers much more than the armies involved in the Macedonian and Punic Wars. In fact, it covers the armies, soldiers, campaigns and battles of most armies between 359 BC and 146 BC, that is from the beginning of Philip II's reign to the sac of Corinth and the end of the Achaean League at the hands of the Romans.So, although this book was initially meant essentially for wargamers, it is still a good starting point and maybe even a reference (at least for me) among other, perhaps more recent titles.
