It may stick out further than you want if you use it at the main sewer or dump gate on the RV. It provides leverage.
If you have room for it to stick out due to the handle then it may be a good deal for you. If your tight and it sticks out further than you want it could be a problem or concern. I bought due to reviews and recommendations from Youtube channels that said this is great for the main gate cap. Allows you some good leverage to open easier than without. I bought cleats to put on my storage tube end cap too. And will also add same cleats to the end caps on the sewer hose. These are nylon plastic boat cleats for wrapping up excess rope but when added to an end cap you get leverage and also something to help you keep an item from moving into your storage tube and forcing you to put your hand into the tube to pull out. Anyway this is specific for the main gate. If you have several main gates for more than one sewer dump and or separate grey and sewer gates then you may want 2. However make sure you grasp this sticks out due to the handle much further than it may appear in the photo. I'll replace the plastic safety thing with a safety chain too. This looks very weak and over time I wouldn't trust it to hold up. It's main purpose is to prevent the loss of the cap when you remove it to apply the sewer hose and then open the gate to dump into and through the hose. Of course you know that. I believe its better than the plan no handled cap due to weak wrists and arthritis in some fingers. But a 4 inch cleat screwed into this cap would work too most likely. I'm not impressed that it comes with a garden hose port. I have clear clean out sewer hose fittings that will allow me to do a much better job and from a better angle too with adding flush water from a hose line.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

No mo broke wrists or bruised knees
This really makes it so much easier to get the cap off when its time to drain the tanks. Grabbing the handle instead of trying to grab the cap with your fingers, really assists in twisting the cap especially after driving and road grim gets in the cap.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

Drain cap
