Still a noisy gearbox
Quite a lot of money for 80ml of fluid which is very difficult to get into an awkward gearbox! Lots of the product wouldn't come out of the silly dispenser it is in. I also changed the gearbox oil at the same time and to be honest its still noisy with only a little bit less noise in the bearings in lower gears. Slick 50 is renowned for being good though so I give this product 3 starts to give benefit of the doubt. I ' ve used slick 50 before for my engine, years ago .shame is they have stopped selling that product.I have a 207cc which I found out they have a problem with the gearbox drive bearing. Slick50 is always worth a try.
Nobody really knows if this product will fix your particular issues, but it is always a good place to start because it is cheap and easy. I had gear selection stiffness and this product appears to have eased the symptom.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

A helpful additive for a noisy gearbox layshaft
I found this oil treatment helpful when added to my Renault gearbox when the layshaft bearings became noisy. There was some improvement also in selecting gears which were hard to select.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

Not all it is cracked up to be...
I read many a good thing about this product so I thought it might just be the cure for my noisy gearbox... It did quite the noisy gearbox ever so slightly but unfortunately my gearbox blew-up a week after Slick50 was put in even with fresh gearbox oil. Good product.
Really noisy rear differential bmw. Added this with a litre of oil. Wasn’t expecting miracles with a 12 year old car but wow. Not totally silent but at least 80-90% quieter and smoother. Even my mechanic couldn’t believe the difference it has made.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

Amazing, this product really works
Hi I own a Range Rover P38 with a manual gearbox and had a slight whine in 2nd, sticky when changing from 2nd into 3rd and also a slight whine in 3rd, added the Abro gearbox additive and no more whining and no more sticky 2nd to 3rd gear change.
