Best Bang for the buck
This pistol shoots as well as my Gamo Compact, Berman P11, and my Avanti 747, at a fraction of the cost. The non adjustable trigger is fine, and after a touch of Teflon based lube, as good as the other target pistols. After having over 500 shots through her she groups off a rest at 10m(33') at0.04" CTC with a 5 shot group. With the wrong pellet these groups can be more like 3". Mine loves Beeman's coated wadcutters. As with most airguns, 1; they won't shoot their best untill broke in. 2; their accuracy will very with different pellets. Velocity is not everything, accuracy is almost alwaysore important.
The fiber optic sights may not be the best target sights, but they are great plinking sights. This pistol should with head shots, dispatch small varmits (pidgions, rats, even that rabbit in your garden). With a set of target sights it can keep up with the sub $500 target pistols. Being compressed air vs spring powered, it is easier and more accurate than any of the break barrel pistols to shoot.
Draw backs, 1; very tight area for loading your pellets. Only my Triumph 747 loads easier, but it is not as powerful. 2; as hard to cock as the P11 or Gamo. P11 has a little more power, but costs about $480 more. 3; has dovetail mounting on the top, but if you mount a pistol scope or red dot, it will be in the way for cocking. 4; you have to be careful not to close the breach by the rear sight, a cocking aid could be a great improvement, but I have not seen one available for this gun. 5; keep you fingers etc out of the area where the barrel and frame come together when closing the breach. This area cun really pinch a finger or anything else in the way when closing the breach. OUCH!
I would love to see them make a .22 version of this pistol.
Great pistol for target shooting, pest control, or just plinking. It should be in everyone's air gun collection. It is a Chinese copy of the Berman P3. Only the trigger is not adjustable. Since the trigger is fine, do you really want to spend another $200 just so you can adjust the trigger? This pistol is inexpensive enough you can take it fishing, camping, etc and not worry about it like you would an expensive one. Although you may like it better and surely use it more.
Ammo, mine likes SwissAir pointed pellets, wadcutters from 7-8 grains. It shoots RWS Hallow Points fine, but not enough power to expand them. You're better off with a wadcutter and accurate head shots.
Cheap to buy, cheap to shoot. This will be your favorite air pistol, unless you splurge and get a pcp and scuba tank for filling it.
