ok by me
just used it to trim the bottom off 4 doors , I'm not an exspert with power tools but I did find it fairly easy to use . The only real problem was the dust bag that attaches onto the side it maybe ok if you are planning something flat butas I was going up and down it had a tendacy to sometimes swing across as you pull away or at least it did with me then it gets cought in the blades. This item is ideal for all your Planing requirements. It adjusts in 0.5mm stages to give 2.5mm to 0.5mm planing depth Guide fence is ideal as is the chamfer groove. Plane but nice

Good for price 2
First. Time out bag full of shavings decided to commit hari kari and threw its self into the rotor. Jamming it into the plane... Tip other bags have a steel arm to hold the bag out.... Other wise seems able to cope even when loading it to max cut. ( not the most powerful ) but ok I planed four door bottoms after new carpet fit so I know it works...
