As advertised, but not for everyone.
I'm a fan of victorinox knives. This one is pretty sparce, but that's the idea. The one-hand versions are not easy to open with one hand, but workable and the liner lock is set up as if left handed. Also this is the only model offered with a pocket clip. Victorinox doesn't seem interested in catering to the US market and competing directly with modern knives, but maybe they don't need to.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

It's sharp...are you ??
A good quality knife like you'd expect from Swiss Army/Victorinox. Very sharp and shiny blade, a little clunky for opening fast one handed, but easy to do at a slower speed. It's a great knife for all cutting requirements but not a good knife for self-defense, when opening fast is needed for protection. If you just need a knife, THIS is a good one...if you need protection/self defense, buy one that opens fast & easy or a fixed blade. Good deal on a good knife.. .

NOT a one-hand pocket knife - takes TWO HANDS to open and close.
NOT a one-hand opening pocket knife. As everyone who reviews this knife points out, it takes TWO hands to open this stiff knife. And the release for the liner lock is backwards. You have to turn the knife over on its back with the blade up to push the liner lock to the right, then use TWO hands to release and carefully close the stiff action so you don't cut yourself. It's thin and well made with quality materials, but I would recommend almost any other flipper liner-lock knife to carry over this Victorinox Sentinel.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

Victorinox Sentinel
Really like the knife, it's exactly what I've hoped for. I want to add this knife to my lightweight backpacking kit. I think it fill the role completely, 3oz or less is the target limit for my selection. Good knife but not for me.
The quality is excellent, as usual with Victorinox. I personally do not like the knife because of the grip and scales. I find the grip awkward and clumsy.
