Knob broke on first use!
I was thrilled to use this when camping with my hungry family, but on the very first use, the left knob to control the flame turned on just fine, but then it wouldn't turn it off! It just spun around continuously! I finally was able to get it to turn off, but then when I tried to use it again the next meal, it just spun and didn't turn on the gas. The knob is just a cheap piece of plastic threaded on to a slender metal rod that adjusts the flame - and it is apparently very easy to strip those threads. I had read about this weakness in other reviews, but I thought it might be "pilot error" where the user did it incorrectly. I was wrong - Coleman needs to fix this! Otherwise, the stove is GREAT! On the burner that did work, the flame stayed steady in strong wind (we camped on a point at a lake with wind swirling around). The instant starter worked well, and the fuel bottle lasted for 5 meals (using only one burner for 4 of those meals). The griddles are small - I could only fit 2 pieces of French toast on each of them - but sturdy, and the non-stick coating worked well. The instant starter also worked perfectly, even in high wind. I don't mind packing a small pliers to use for adjusting the left burner, but too bad to have to do this with a stove that is brand new!!!!

I bought this stove on ebay "used but works as intended" Pictures looked promising Soime reviews online said the burners made a LOUD whistling when a pan was over them My stove does also - but if I turn the flame very low for a short period (30sec?), it doesn't do it anymore until next cold light. (both burners) Some complained about yellow flame (mine does after heat up) I even drilled the induced air orifices the next size up (a minor .005 increase) - made no difference - the manual says yellow flame is ok if not sooting pans Stove control is sensitive at simmer, but do-able I'm retired after 35years in the heating industry - so anything I've done was with careful consideration based on my experience - don't do this at home All said, it's a nice stove - looks rugged but, is it worth 3-4 times the cost of the "normal" ones with wind baffle on the side? I own maybe 8 different coleman camp stoves dating back to 1960, they all work flawlessly I've camped since I was a kid in the 1950's Hope this helps anyone's decision process

Super - Wind Resistant
Very good, high quality grill/stove. Careful with the temperature settings, as it does run hot. Setting flame to low needs a careful turn, but the dial is good quality and will hold in place. This grill is very, very wind resistant. Buy it

Great stove and good value from Coleman
Replaced an older Coleman propane stove that lasted well over 10 years before the knobs finally gave out. Tried several fixes over the years but ended up using pliers to shut the valves off. This new stove appears to be solid build quality - have used on multiple trips this summer and it has performed flawlessly. It gets extremely hot and quickly. I often find myself cooking on low with it (if there's such a thing lol)...that would my be only minor complaint. Very wind resistant. It boils water very efficiently - even at higher altitudes around and above 10,000ft. Hope it last for a long time:)

A top of the line best stove ever.
This is a very nice stove. Used it for a week in the mountains, cooks great and looks great. Faster heating than others, it got lots of heat, but can be turned low, everything works very good. Wished they made a cover for it, we bought a cover from another brand, OK, but a bit big. I say Coleman did good on this stove. My wife and I like it very much, glad we got it. I recommend it for anyone, can not think of anything negative about it.

Great stove! It does burn very hot, but it can be controlled with fine adjustments and good cookware.
