If you don't like squeaky strings, try these!
These strings really do cut out a lot of squeak which was an important factor in choosing them. Also, as a long time player of nylon strings and relatively new to steel strings I found them easy to adjust to with their lighter tension. Maybe not as loud as the original strings on my Yamaha acoustic, which were a medium tension (I think), but they do the job I wanted and from now on I'll probably stick to these D'Addario Flat Tops.

Not the cheapest, but great quality.
These strings are not cheap, but they cut down unwanted string noise from finger movement , slides etc. and strumming noise from fingers or plectrum, better than any other strings I have used. Their tone is great and they keep their tone after a lot of playing.

Very specific use
Nicely made string but they are extremely stiff and really only suited to dobro type guitars for slide or bottleneck playing. Also the tone is a little thin probably due to the flattened nature of the strings
