Great upgrade, highly recommended. This 2.6+GHz i5 will breathe new life into your old laptops, as long as you have a socket on your mobo.
I used this to upgrade a ProBook 4520s, which had a Celeron before. The difference is night and day. This 12-year old laptop is now running like a champ, my Linux daily driver. I highly recommend this upgrade, if your laptop has a socket-mounted CPU.
