Good, would be great with better docs & support!
A good product that with better documentation and support could be a great one. Behringer even make it difficult to work out how to use this with their XR18 even though it's pictured connected to it in the manual!! I now have it working with an XR18 but despite Behringer rather than with their help. If Behringer were to do things like have a Mac app to edit the settings (so many audio people use Macs), presets in the app to send useful settings to work with their kit and videos that don't simply show it working but help you understand setting it up, then we'd really have a great piece of kit. All that said, the faders feel great and respond quickly, the rotary encoders smooth but positive, the lights around the encoders have multiple ways of showing the value and the 'Mackie Control' mode makes it pretty simple to get it working with a good number of DAWs. If your main want is to use it with the likes of Logic, Cubase or Ableton you shouldn't have too much bother, and really enjoy it. This is why I still have it as 4 stars.
