Extreme isn't extreme these days.
I was happy to make my old eMac have a fresh breath of life by giving it wireless. Sadly, no one likes to post the specs for this. This is not a very fast wireless card; moreover, it doesn't connect with my AirPort Extreme in its draft mode. I have to,scale it back to 2.5 gHz so that it can connect. Doing this slows the entire network to a crawl. It'd be better to subnet and put it on a slow network just for it, I’m not doing that. I'll live and learn. I'll get an airport express and extend my network with it and plug my eMac into that port. It'll work much faster that way.

Some how my air port card died, it happens, and the shipping was extremely fast and i put the airport card in and had to update some drivers and my imac g4 can get online
