Great Features!
There's a reason this product gets such high ratings! Works great! Easy to use; Great sound; Downloadable software for Windows 10. I also have the ION vinyl converter - which continues to be a winner after hundreds of vinyl conversions. ION MAKES DURABLE PRODUCTS! Ion Tape 2
Works well, but have some problems with one Dell XPS computer. Did not import waw files recorded in this device. Now using another and older Dell Optiplex 780 computer, no problem, although no direct transfer to Itunes possible. Also tried an old Dell Precision M4300 and also able to import waw files to hard drive, not able to transfer directly to Itunes. But as it worked in these two computers, I am fairly satisfied. Though it may not be a throwback, from the '80's. It fills in, quite smartly. To dust off the original cassettes, feels great again. Surprisingly, the Tapes sound great, after all these years. This product meets all of the manufacturer's specifications for quality of workmanship, material, versatility and durability. Could be better
The recording quality was good however, when the recording was paused and then resumed an audible "thud" was heard. The supplied software was not used. Unfortunately the instructions are online only and scarce at that. The B side tape holder is tweaked just a bit. Product Quality
This is an amazing tape converter unit!!! I can look at it and tell that it was a great product to use!!! After I ripped music from my old cassettes, and download it on my computer, the sound quality after it's been converted and digitized sounds 5 times better than the original cassette itself!!! It sounds like I'm actually playing music from a cd than on a cassette tape!!! The only issue I had was when I first play cassettes on the cassette deck, it tends to rip takes but after 1 minute of duration, it plays it suppose to!!!! I am completely addictive to this unit!!!! Works well and price point suits me.

Cassette has dual purposes- digitizing and dubbing!
I needed a good quality cassette system to help digitize my family cassettes that had been stored for years, so the USB input was perfect; in fact, no additional software was needed. My computer immediately recognized the input and so did my software (Audacity). While some of the cassettes had deteriorated, this machine still made the best quality recording that could be obtained. In addition, I wanted copies of the cassettes to share with cousins; this allowed me to do high speed dubbing of cassettes to make additional copies of cassettes as needed. Cassette player and recorder with the ability to go to the PC
So far it works as good as I thought it would. It is not an expensive player but it has the capability to convert to digital storage on the computer. And I see the output plug will be some kind of cable that turns into a USB on the other end.
