Inexpensive, but very poor workmanship
The curved hemostat is actually not too bad, but had such rough edges to the clamping jaws it required about 20 minutes of sanding with 600 grit sandpaper before they could be used without risk of injury. The jaws of the straight hemostat make contact with each other only at the middle of their length - at both the tip end of the jaw, and the hinge end, they make no contact with each other at all, which makes them next to useless for accurate gripping. Perhaps this is okay for some buyers, but implies very poor quality control standards. My suggestion: pay a little more and get better quality.
