Works fine in a HP Elitebook 8570w
I installed this WWAN module in a HP Elitebook 8570w and it fits mechanically perfect. I then connected 2 of the 3 wires. After booting, the Bios issue occured, but it was NO problem. I use Windows 10 and my Bios version is 68IAV Ver. F.63. I neither have to upgrade my BIOS-Version nor I have to use a patched BIOS. I just did a reboot, then Window installad automaticalle the appropriate driver. The Bios told me a second time that the card is switches off, but regardless the module works fine. I presume, that the module itself maybe doesn't have a wire or contact for to be switched off by the Bios. Finally I bought a SIM card, and it works fine. Now my laptop has a WWAN module! Cool!

Funktioniert auch mit Thinkpad X1 Yoga Gen1 Habe Treiber der "großen " Dock mit OneLink + installiert. ipconfig -all listet "Intel(R) Ethernet Connection I219-LM"
