Works pretty good, my dog has very fine hair and it's hard to cut. I was hoping that this would cut aa bit easier but it still gets caught up in her hair. It did leave the hair at the perfect length.

Just what I needed
I needed a closer cut for my standard poodle but was afraid to go too close. After looking, I decided on this one, the 1/2". I already have the Andis clipper which I highly recommend!! This gives the perfect cut, and let's me go 8 weeks between cuts. High quality, easy to clean!

Not for Shih Tzu
I bought this blade because I wanted to leave the hair a bit longer on my Shih Tzu (1/2 inch). It did not work at all. The blade slid over her hair barely removing any at all. Very disappointed.

Works like a charm
Got blade quickly and it worked great. Cut really well. Blades were super sharp which made shaving pup quick and easy.
