Terramycin ointment is the cure for most eye infections in kittens & other animals
Young kittens are especially at risk for eye infections. Terramycin ointment is the cure! It usually takes only a few days of once or twice a day applications to get rid of the infection, but only when the cat's inner eyelid is closed and blocking the medicine does it take more than a few days. If it's that bad, I would take the kitten to a vet, because it's at risk of permanent blindness. You can use a Q-tip for straight-on applying the ointment, but don't clean the eye with it, because Q-tips are much too rough for an eye. Instead, use a wet soft tissue for cleaning a kitten's eyes.

Equal to name brand sold locally.
I haven't found any difference in the results from taking this product versus what I was buying at Walgreen's for a lot more money. Each capsule comes sealed in a foil wrapper of ten capsules with 20 foil sheets to a box (200 total). I will be a regular purchaser when my current supply runs out. Shipping to the States was also faster than expected.

My cat allergy
My cat has a bad allergy from the carpet in the house and this terramycin works wonderfully and keeps the swollen eyes down

Less Expensive alternitives
Very expensive for an antibiotic, their are other over the counter products that work as well
