I have only been shooting for 6 months for so. 2nd adjustable power and parallax scope This one is so much better than my first UTG TruHunter. Side parallax works so well. Crystal clear glass and reticle. I could never see my pellet (22 cal air gun) fly thru the air when shot. I can with this scope. I did have the sun to reflect off the pellet. Shooting picture with my digital camera is so much better as well. Finer recitals but still visible at all ranges and zoom powers. Mounted with Hawke Sport padded rings makes adjustments so easy. Eye relief was pretty easy to master. Even with the scope mounted forward for the camera mount, I still am able to shoot thru the scope with just a little forward lean. If you are thinking of getting this scope or deciding which scope will suit your gun. This is grade A, 10 outa 10 in my book. Thanks for the great product.
I am a long range precision shooter and use US Optics brand scopes on my precision long range rifles. However, I LOVE the Hawke Airmax 30 scope family! I use them on my high dollar PCP air rifles and I use them on my .22LR rifles. I have cranked these turrets hundreds of times and shot tens of thousands of rounds in my PCP's, Ruger 1022's and my precision .22LR bolt rifles. Other guys at the range have proven success using them on their "black rifles" and other semi auto's. I can attest they are very clear and focus well from 30 feet to 600+ yards. They are very durable and are well worth the money.
Well made and ruggedly constructed. Built to withstand the shock of a Magnum air rifle. Decent usable features. I own six Hawke scopes. They stand up very well to the abuse from a heavy recoiling air rifle, I have had much more expensive scopes fail.
I mounted my Hawke Airmax on a .177 Weihrauch HW97K. If you miss with this combination it's your fault. I can get the distance within a yard with the parallax. The mil dots are dead on at 10 yard intervals.
