May need adapting to fit your grinder
These are probably oversized for the standard small bench grinder but the hex shaft can be cut down to make it fit. The thread fit both of my grinders although rather loose, but the hex shaft was too long for the motor shaft so I cut about 20mm off. About two thirds of the hex is bored oversized with the last third threaded to enable it to fit over the motor shaft, unfortunately it's not a snug fit on mine so only the rather loose thread is in contact and the spiral tip doesn't sit quite centered when spinning on either grinder.

Great item but will not fit A Silverline 150mm grinder...
The only issue is that it will not fit a 150W Silverline Grinder 263511 without modification. You would think their own products would match up... There is a shoulder on the grinder that is bigger than the hole in the spindle .??? I had to drill out the spindle shaft so that it cleared the shoulder on the grinder. The shoulder prevents the shaft reaching the screwed part of the spindle core. The shoulder on the shaft is there to stop the washer and grind wheel going on too far. Once i counter bored the spindle by about 10-15mm the spindle screwed on and is now functional. You may or may not have the same issue on other grinders.

does not fit
does not fit my grinder may fit if i cut 20mm from end as plain portion is to long therefore thread does not engage .it appears reading other reviews i am not the first to find this problem

Tapered Spindle
Very Good Solid Spindle , Perfect for attaching to Bench Grinder for Polishing with a Buffing wheel . The Only Downside is that small buffing wheels will not screw on ,due to the diameter of the Spindle not being Tapered enough to accommodate smaller Buffing Wheels.

NOT FOR ME
Was not sure of the size required but it looked OK. when it arrived it was far too big at the taper to go into the wheel and did not fit the grinder. A solid spindle with the right grinder and wheel it may be perfect but for me it was useless. Could not be bothered to return.

this must be silverlines worst product ever, this is the second one ive bought and niether has a thread cut to screw it on to the polisher.

Do not buy!
Arrived fairly quickly, but is useless. There is no internal thread, so can’t be mounted on any spindle. Waste of money.

Factory fault
There is no inner thread on the spindle.I guess factory fault.No way you can mount this on bench grinder,unless you do some modification( drill a hole and cut thread for stopper bolt)
