The Swiss Army Knife of acoustic guitars
This is the most versatile acoustic guitar I own. It's great for solo work, small ensembles and recording. The lightweight construction is a spruce top, mahogany back and sides, scalloped bracing and wonderful low action. The 000-18 has a clean, balanced, loud sound without the Dreadnought boom. The notes are individual instead of muddied together like so many acoustic guitars and the mids come through well. The action is effortless like my other Martins. It's what I'd call medium expensive and worth every penny. I highly recommend it.
