Unsatisfactorily

Does what it says
As the title suggests it does what it says it does. I found you must prepare the metal well degrease then used acetone before applying the super blue. I also warmed the metal and rinsed with boiling water this gave me the finish I desired. Great product.

Good product
Having used another makers blueing, that was a waste of time, I decided to try this Birchwood Casey Super Blue, not expecting much, going by the previous blueing I had used, I was really surprised how well this blueing worked, it gave very good results and was easy to apply. Just follow the instructions and you can't go wrong.

Overall good product

Works well
If used as per instructions it works well. I found that multiple applications worked best but finish is dependent on quality of material to which it is being applied. Excellent product if you follow the manufacturer's instructions.
This is an excellent chemical blue, surface preparation is most important, clean and remove all previous blue with very fine wire wool then degrease and blue, repeating and polishing finest wire wool you find and you will get very good finish and none of the hazards of using hot salts.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu
