Mixed Bag (pun intended)
This product is a truly great idea. Sadly, it is made out of very very low quality material, and I wonder if it would even hold up for a single use. Normally, one of the great things about mylar is that its tough - it doesn't have much stretch or give, and it's very hard to tear. This bag is made out of such cheap thin mylar that it stretches and tears with the slightest pulling. To use this bag, your body will have to be able to slide into and move around inside it. If my finger stretched through mine the first time I unrolled it, just imagine what your belt buckle, or a rivet on your jeans would do. Really too bad. I'd be willing to pay a few bucks more for the higher quality of mylar. All of that being said, it still may be worth having for a one time use in a severe emergency.

This could save my life .
A great back up when travelling in B.C.s interior, compact light weight. High volume, safe survival accommodation. in all weather.

Limited benefit without ground barrier
This product would be indispensable in some situations. I like that it resists tearing and can be repaired with duct tape. Think it should have added insulation for cases of direct contact with the ground. Without such a barrier it wouldn't prevent the loss of body heat via contact transfer. A companion purchase of a mummy mat type barrier would be a good idea.

Don't fiddle with tucking, slip in and survive
Normal soace blankets must be adjusted, almostly constantly. And air gaps prevail. With a slip in bivy this simply doesn't happen. Slip in, roll onto your side and sleep it out.

This is a survival piece of equiepment
light weight takes up almost no space at all it can safe your life never leave home with out one in your pack

Small and light, way better than just a piece of mylar. It's in the bottom of my daypack. Recommended .
I wondered if it would be worth carrying. I've only used an emergency "blanket" once. I'm glad I have this, it weighs nothing.

Great Idea!
I haven't needed to use it yet, but I think it's a great idea. I have heard good reviews for it. It is what it is. Don't think you can substitute this for a real sleeping bag. It's for emergency use or it can be used with a sleeping bag to add extra warmth. Throw one in your bug-out bag. They weigh nothing and take up very little space.
