Hat gut funktioniert
Habe zwei Flaschen davon gekauft und damit beige Shorts aus 100% Acryl im Kochtopf nahezu kochend ca. 60 Minuten gefärbt. Im Wasser schien die Farbe wirklich pechschwarz, nach einer Wäsche in der Waschmaschine war die Farbe dann ungefähr wie das Grau der Verpackung. Die Anwendung war etwas langwierig aber einfach und man kann definitiv damit Kunststoffe färben, wenn man sich an die Anweisungen hält und der Stoff die Hitze verträgt. Ich bin relativ zufrieden mit dem Ergebnis, muss aber sagen, dass es ein teurer Spaß ist (Normalerweise kostet eine Flasche 5$ vom Hersteller, aber Import kostet halt viel) und man abwägen sollte, ob man einen großen Topf und Kochgeschirr dafür opfert.

Had been struggling to dye my peach wedding dress with ordinary dye read about this and as I had allready messed dress up went three different colours using Dylon it went perfect couldn't do it on stove used my sink but boiled water and kept adding more it turned out the black I had wanted

Effective and easy to use
Perfect dye for all types of materials, dyes even the most stubborn of synthetics with a little patience. Also mixes really well for different shades (color & mix chart on the RIT website) and is super easy to use.

Disappointed with results.
Not a fault with the dye. I dyed a coat that was already the colour of the dye. I had put a new exposed zip on the coat but was unable to get the dark grey. The coat took the dye ok but it did not touch the zip. It sticks out like a sore thumb being very light grey. So waste of time. I have used Rit before but not the polyester one. I had very good results dying my jeans.

Great product - no need to boil!
I used this to dye a polyester fluffy dressing gown. I didn't boil it as I had no pan big enough, so I boiled up as much water as I could , put it in a clean food waste bin with the dye and item, closed the lid and left it for 40 mins. Very pleased with the result and no streaks or darker patches. I rinsed it out in the washing machine.

Don't buy
It didn't dye my partners polyesters joggers , it slightly darkend them but didn't make them thr colour it said on bottle

Glad with the outcome, could colour double the amount of clothes with it, second batch wasn’t that dark though.

Because it is so versatile. I use it to tint my spectacle frames and they come out amazing
