Well-engineered, confidence-inspiring and at an excellent price.
This is as small and as light as promised, at a fraction of the cost of the somewhat larger and heavier Gitzo traveller. It is entirely inert - no ringing - and everything works as it should. I had thought I would want to replace the head, but no, it’s fine: no drooping, no overt flexure and it can properly support my Fuji Xe2 with the 55-200mm without that annoying game of trying to anticipate and allow for droop. The twistlocks are the best I’ve seen, requiring very little strength to loosen and tighten, and this can be done very quickly, each leg all at once, so swiftly deploying this tripod is effortless, as it should be, and so is putting it away. There are steel spikes under the rubber feet, which can make all the difference in mud or on ice. Some other reviews out there, written by morons, suggest this wasn’t ideal in high winds or with a Nikon D800 and a 500mm f4 lens. Ignore these unworthy embarrassments to the profession. This is a super-light travel tripod weighing under a kilogram and folding down to 33cm. It is PERFECT for a mirrorless camera with a prime lens or a serious compact like a Ricoh GR or a Fuji x100. It can easily fit in a small daypack with plenty of room to spare. The best camera you own is the one you have with you. The same goes for a tripod. Strongly recommended. Actually, this is a work of art, a tactile delight, every part of it well-made, well-thought out and executed; You may not even want to take it out into the field, but instead leave it in the display cabinet! And there’s no need for the Gitzo traveler at 5x the price.

Kompaktes, hochwertiges und stabiles Reisestativ
für mich das perfekte Reisestativ. Die Verarbeitung ist hochwertig, das Gewicht gering und trotzdem stabil. Genau das was ich gesucht habe. Ich kann es nur weiterempfehlen.
