not quiet that simple and convenient
installed this on my 2013 4Runner with an Alpine Halo 9. it was simple and easy install with clear instructions. After setting the dip switches just plug in the jack, connect the standard power wires, connect the three control wires to the vehicle harness as instructed. The Vol. up and down works. The track up and down works. The source button works. All the steering wheel controls on the left side work. the right side......no. It did nothing to answer call and end calls. Voice button does not work. All the connections are made as instructed but you still have to manually program the buttons to get them to perform their stock assignments. Disappointed to say the least. I bought this specific unit because I wanted to retain ALL of the stock steering wheel controls with out having to sit there and press buttons to program them.

Not that great!
On GM interface for Silverado they are super simple plug in one plug to the pac interface. Go online to program or set dip switches to your vehicle. The bad is once installed some are garbage and do not work at all. Poor quality control @ PAC . Then you can tear your vehicle apart to replace it with a working unit. PAC interface for GM the same so poorly assembled you can not plug the connectors in without prying the case open enough to get the connector in. Installer stated these are common issue with PAC.

Another great time saver by PAC!
Pros: Very well made harness and not too bulky. Cons: harness length could be 6" inches longer.

Awesome product
The folks at pac know their stuff I bought pac swI-cp2 for a 99 Durango so the steering wheel buttons would work with the Sony head unit and it works flawlessly! I would recommend it for purchase.
