A Good Product but Not Without Flaws
TV Ears continues to be something my husband and I use regularly. They are a Godsend when one of us is reading and the other wants to watch TV. They are generally comfortable and can be worn for several hours without irritation. That said, the headset itself is very flimsy and the "arms" can break easily which has happened on many occasions. Given what they charge for this product, it seems they should be sturdier so we are not constantly having to buy replacement units which are not inexpensive. During the 10 years or so we've been using them, we've been able to repair the headset with toothpicks, popsicle sticks, glue, etc. in an effort to avoid buying replacements. If you read about them from other sources, you will find that the "flimsy arms" issue is a constant complaint. Problem Solved...
TV Ears have provided my husband and me with a solution to what was a very uncomfortable situation: One of us had trouble decifering dialog on the television resulting in it being turned up much too loud for the other one. TV Ears sound quality is very good and allows the volumn on the television to be at a more normal level. The downside is the headset is not very comfortable. When worn for an entire evening of viewing it sometimes results in a headache. instant on TV ear set
Love the fact they are constantly linked to the transmitter resulting in instant on. Sound clarity is good but could use better volume fine tuning as turn wheel is very sensitive which will blast the sound if touched accidentally. Unlike others I have tried, the range on these is very limited. You cannot roam with these on without increased noise level. Headset is very sensitive to close body contact which also results in increased noise level. I sit about 16 feet from the TV/Transmitter and they work fine. Listen Up Loud Without Disturbing Others!
Sound quality good. Maximum comfort takes a bit of adjustment of the earpieces. Buying new ear inserts is recommended as they may not be perfectly clean after use. Mine arrived in excellent condition but I know that they will eventually wear out. Shop carefully on ebay & you can find excellent bargains on the replacements! Very lightweight. If you do a LOT of watching, 2 headsets are a good investment since you can listen to one while charging the other. I'd purchase again.

Great Product - Not delivered as shown.
The box said this was digital, but the transformer was analog and I had trouble hooking it up to the TV. I had to use a digital transformer from another tv to make it work. I didn't send it back because I had to use to optical cable that came with ot to connect the tv ears. This was the only fault.
