Excellant nibs for beginners...
As a lefty, someone new to nib calligraphy, I got three sets of different nibs to play with: Nikko G, Brause Brause 66 and the Tachikawa. While all three are excellent, Tachikawa was the nib I came back too, more than often. It holds ink reasonably well, it has a decent flex and it's really comfortable to write with. Most of all the price is just right for anyone who wants to try nib calligraphy without going for the more expensive nibs and get frustrated.
Note: Clean you nib before using and write with it steadily for several days, until you get the feel of the nibs.
