Essential Correction of Historical Bias.
This book is exceptionally thoroughly researched with interviews done directly with participants and survivors or by reading original diaries and private letters home form troops. All British people should read this book to correct decades of continued war propaganda and history written by the victors. It is so full of detail and new perspectives that it took me a long time to work through it. Despite or perhaps because of this it is a very engrossing book of deep significance.
