Seemingly all there is to know about the Maus
This book is a very thorough recounting of the history, development and technical aspects of the tank in question. I'm sure that the author does actually know more than is written but in the interest of keeping the book portable (and readable), he has probably winnowed it down slightly. It is quite a substantial piece of work though. Readers will learn of the political drama at the highest levels which surrounded the tank, the technical struggle to make it perform better than it had any right to, and they will see just about every detail and component, inside and out.
