A quick lesson in banking corruption
Very fine actors in a setting where they act out a story based on what happened to cause the Global Economic Collapse. So many Australians have no idea of what happened. We were so insulated. While other countries including the great United States almost went broke and so many of their people suffered terribly at the hands of a greedy few, we were busy betraying Prime Minister Gillard who spent our surplus and even put us in debt to save us from going under the way so many other countries did. If you don't understand the economic setting that dictates our fate then see this movie. If you have no idea what the GFC was all about and the devastation it caused then watch this movie. The Big Short explains what happened, in a manner that even a child could understand, via a great story. You will learn how things can get out of hand and people suffer when a boil erupts like a volcano without any warning.

Great movie based on the housing bubble in USA 2007
Good films are just good films, depending on your genre interests. This is a good story, good actors, a bit of comedy and based on the housing bubble financial crisis 2007 in USA. Missed it at the movies, dvd's are a great way to catch up.

Movie review
I really enjoyed this dvd, it's part movie funny doco it explains complex financial transactions in funny creative ways, with celebrities. I really liked it & would recommend it.

Money watch
This movie is an eye opener into the devious workings of the financial system and how it can destroy lives. If I didn't have morals I would be rich also. Big banking gains are small people's pain and they continue doing this today. Awaiting the next installment
