Great "Haunting" classic.
Probably a lot of people have never seen this movie. It is a great classic haunting movie with an unexpected twist. Nothing like the new "Changeling". Totally different story line. Though it is years old.....well done and great actors (George C. Scott). If you like haunted type movies, you'll love this one.

A "Giant's Shoulders" in scary movies
Excellent supernatural story telling with just as excellent acting. No using gore or shock as a crutch to compensate for absence of talent in writing or directing. Younger horror directors and writers need to watch this before their next project.

Gothic horror masterpiece
I saw this movie years ago and instantly fell in love. It's a fantastic story told with heart and plenty of chills... but no gore. THAT'S makes it so much fun. (I've loved horror since I was knee -high, so I can appreciate that. )

Movie is slow to start but better in middle
It's 80s style vibe little slow in beginning but is more interesting towards middle& end

A good classic, a very attractive price.
I have wanted to see it for a long time and it is actually very difficult to achieve with good quality. At last I could see it at a super cheap price and a very good quality.

Wonderful Classic Ghost Story
This is a great old-fashioned, classic ghost tale. It still gives me chills whenever I watch it — and I've watched it a lot over the years! (I purchased this copy for a friend.) George C. Scott is excellent as the bereaved husband and father, living in a spooky, yet beautiful, old mansion with a ghost who is desperately trying to communicate with him. This movie is for those who enjoy a really good scare, but don't want to watch blood and gore.

This is a Excellent movie!!
What a great movie. It will keep you on the edge of your seat from start to finish. I first saw it in the 80s with my kids when they were first starting to like scary movies. Lol well my Daughter and grands 16 &19 yr olds will be here Dec for a week can't wait to watch it with all of them !!

Great movie at a great buy!
My husband & I watch this movie every October. It's such a well-acted, spooky classic. We usually borrow the DVD from the library, but now we have our own copy!

Never a dull moment.
This is a fun, and sad, ghost story. I sure miss George C. Scott. He was a fabulous actor.
