SORRY TO SEE YOU GO...
I HAVE THE ENTIRE SERIES AND HAVE ENJOYED IT THOROUGHLY. GARRITSON'S CHARACTERS ARE BROUGHT TO SCREEN LIFE VERY WELL AND THE ORIGINAL AUTHOR'S APPEARANCE WAS AN EXTRA TREAT. THE OTHER MEMBERS OF THE FAMILY KEPT AN OTHERWISE GRIM SUBJECT LIGHT WITH WELCOME COMEDY RELIEF. THE BOOKS, BY THE WAY, ARE WORTH READING (YOU DO REMEMBER READING, DON'T YOU?} SOME OF THE SOLUTIONS (JANE SHOOTING THROUGH HERSELF TO GET THE BAD GUY, FOR EXAMPLE) WERE UNIQUE, EVEN FOR THIS GENRE. One of the best
I have enjoyed the TV series and find it accurately reflects Tess Gerritsen characters from her novels. I find the series entertaining, humorous and exciting. With that in mind, it is worth purchasing the DVDs.With the sixth abd seventh seasons, I have the complete set. Enjoy

The end of the line...
This is the last of "Rizzoli and Isles," which somehow survived through seven seasons without being affiliated with any major network. The scripts matched the earlier years, with an occasional "thin" concept, but Angie Harmon will always be THE detective, who can go from gentle persuasion to in-your-face. Dr. Isles, in the final year, seemed to run out of the usual array of "fun facts," or else the writers deemed them not fun. Light-hearted crime drama with a strong overlay of family and personal events, it was a great run of somewhere near 100 episodes. For those who have enjoyed it, its prequel was "The Woman's Murder Club," a short, 15-episolde San Francisco-based cop show, again featuring Angie Harmon. If you liked R & I, get the earlier version!

I will miss this show and chacters
I have enjoyed this show and am sorry to see it end. I have been a fan of Angie Harmon since before Law & Order and of Bruce McGill since I saw him on Magnum, P. I. I hope they will both return to series TV soon. I liked the idea of two strong, intelligent women; it didn't hurt that the beautiful Detective Rizzoli carried a gun. I was so sorry when Detective Frost died. I liked both the actor and the character. However, the show was strong enough to survive that setback, though the replacements were not as engaging. The little tributes to him afterwards and in the last few shows were nice, too, but only reminded how much he would be missed. I hope that they will re-unite to make a prequel and perhaps some sequels. I would enjoy the origin of the serial killer from the pilot: in fact, I would have started the series with that story. Goodbye to a great show.

Rizzoli and Isles
I have loved all the previous seasons of Rizzoli and Isles, and the final season is no exception. I was so disappointed to see the program canceled. I love all the characters, how they interact with one another, and how they support each other in different situations. There are some very emotional moments, which, for me, bring tears. Rizzoli and Isles is a great series to add to anyone's media library.

Awesome Final Season
I just loved the final season. I wish that they could have continued. It was the best season of all the others. It is a much have if you have the other seasons. Don't miss out on the final ones.

Awesome final season!!!!!!!
My wife and I enjoyed every episode of this show throughout the 7 seasons. The final season ended the way we hoped it would. All the characters grew on you because the actors played their parts so well. Finally a series that mixed suspense and humour and a family feeling in the right amounts. Great series with an excellent ,well thought out ending season.

I love Rizzoli
I'm very sorry to see this series end. My husband & I thoroughly enjoyed it. It may be mainly about 2 females, but he loves Rizzoli's quick wit. Although this is a crime drama show, the characters are very well developed and just plane fun.

Good ending!
If you liked the rest of the series you will enjoy this. the Ladies bring the season to end very nicely, all ends accounted for.... Really had a good time watching!!

Entertaining
This is one of my favorite shows, not too violent and has a well-developed cast of characters and plots that are hard to come by today.
