One of the best movies I've seen in a long time
I love this movie. Im really into movies with unique visual styles such as "natural born killers" and this really fit the bill. Ive become a huge fan of the director Panos Cosmotos as a result. Nickolas Cage goes to extremes for the love of Mandy!
This is the story of a couple who are very much in love and live way out in the woods. One day a big gold van drives down the road that the woman (Mandy) is walking on. The van is occupied by a cult headed by a creepy narcissist who arbitrarily becomes obsessed with Mandy. All kinds of terrible and cruel things happen to the couple, and the rest of the movie is a Nickolas Cage masterpiece of revenge against the bad guys. There are lots of great portrayals and surprising twists in the story if you don't mind some gore. There is a rare Bill Duke (Predator) siting as well.
