Amazing game, if a bit of a grindfest.
While the grind can be grueling, often times, it's worth it when you get the 'mon you've been working towards. In the other half of Cyber Sleuth, Hacker's Memory, I finally managed to grind enough for a DNA Digivolution, Mastemon, the fusion between LadyDevimon and AngeWomon. Took ages, but the accomplishment felt worth it. The game itself is good, with an amazing story on both ends, even if the ending of Hacker's Memory is a bit bittersweet. The second game flows a bit easier than the first, but the first has the actual story that makes it so you can understand the second story's ending. I didn't finish the first, because every time I picked it up, I was reminded that I was trying to get Mastemon in it. So I forgot the basics of trying to progress the story. The second game, while still a grindfest at times, was much easier to grind in. And much easier to progress the story in. Either way, if you're a fan of Digimon, I highly recommend these two to you. Fair warning, it's a turn based RPG, so if you don't like those, avoid this part of the series. Maybe Digimon World -New Order- will be to your liking instead.
