Piece of junk
This thing never keeps the connection on 5G. My devices continually switch to my routers 5G SSID, I get aborted file transfers, ip configuration errors. Haven't tried the 2.4GHZ band because 5ghz is faster but it probably has the same issues. Not sure if it's because my unit is refurbed and a new one would not have my issues but I'm going to unplug it and stop using this one because it's just a waste of electricity.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Gebraucht

Great little Extender
Very easy to setup. Just plugged it in and hit the wps on my router and dlink extender. Extender turned off and back on i looked for my wifi and it already had named it and also put Ext next to my wifi name. Login to the dlink box and its working great. D-Link AC750
The unit was fast and easy to setup. It has seemed to make a good, not great, improvement in the WiFi reception in the house. My LG 55LM6200 TV still drops the connection but the laptop, phones and i-pad do seem to have better reception But I give it a good overall rating.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

D-Link 1520 Wi-Fi Range Extender
This extender was super easy to set up and the extended range is fantastic. Simply pressing the WPS buttons on both the extender and router made the set-up connection easy, then going to the web site to complete any finishing touches was a breeze. Works with limitations
Problem Wi-Fi areas need good equipment and I have had good experience with D link. Not this time. Needed a strong signal to my garage from my Netgear ac1900. Setup D link extender and saw a signal in the garage but it was weak and when it did connect it was slow or dropped entirely. To be fair I may be asking too much. Great performance, easy setup
Very pleased with the ease of setup and the wireless performance of the DAP-1520. It took less than 3 minutes to get it connected via WPS, and it provides a very strong signal over good distance on both the 2.4 and 5 GHz bands. The design of the case is nice and modern; didn't feel like I had to hide it anywhere. Build quality seems good; don't expect any issues with it. works great

dlink 1520 is very good
this thing works very well. its faster than the tp-link re200 that i have. i can actually watch video now without buffering. the tp-link would buffer regularly. so overall i'm pleased with the product and highly recommend. for the price its hard to beat. for anyone with weak wifi signal in their house which is most of us i figure, repeaters are definitely something to look into. i have 3 of them and they have solved my wifi problems. not bad , less than $60 for all 3 repeaters i have. this d-link 1520 doesn't have the range that the tp-link does but when its in good range it works better, faster. i have it placed about 50 ft. from the router. btw i had to upgrade the firmware in it before it would work with my android tv box. it just kept trying to obtain an ip address. the auto update installed .106 version on it but if u go to the australian site there is v .107 which worked great with my tv box. but overall this is a great little repeater at a reasonable price which should work for most peoples needs.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Generalüberholt

Wi-Fi Beware
I read some reviews from tech publications about this product that said it was a good value for the price and it works well. The product was very easy to install. However, I have not experienced any great increases in Wi-Fi speeds. I do live in an area with a lot of trees so perhaps that has something to do with it.
