Solved a big problem
I bought this to enable the home health aides to transfer my dad from his bed to different chairs and to the commode. He's a tall man and very weak and doesn't really walk at all. The aides were having a tough time with the transfers and I went online to try to find a solution because I did not want to use a Hoyer lift on him (which would only add to him becoming more of an invalid). I also didn't want anyone getting injured in the transfer process. I came upon this device and, after watching several YouTube videos, I ordered it. The aides LOVE it and it makes the whole process of moving him around SO much easier for all involved. God Bless the person who invented this! It's really ingenious and it has made life a lot more pleasant for dad and the aides. I'm a nurse and I have never seen this used in a hospital and I'm not sure why? It is fantastic!

This is a great machine
I had been moving my wife around the house on a rollator type walker. She recently spent time as an inpatient and the staff moved her around on a Sara Stedy brand piece of equipment. I was able to find the Lumex LF1600 equipment at a much more affordable price. Since receiving the Lumex LF1600, moving her is much easier and we find that she is able to do standing exercises within the safety of the equipment.

Easy to use
Product is easy to use and a very good bargain for the cost. Much cheaper than a common name brand but has a few better features. It works better in smaller areas and has two bars across front to help patient get on.

I couldn't have kept my Dad home if it weren't for this Lumex Sit to Stand
I was at my wits end because my Dad was unable to do a transfer. We used the Sara Sit to Stand in the hospital after surgery, so I started looking for one. Because of the Lumex Sit to Stand, I am able to take care of my Dad at home. Although it is expensive and I had to make concessions in other areas (I would really like to see it go down in price), I would do it again to keep my Dad home with me. The delivery was not only prompt, it was 2 days early and it was easy to assemble. THANK YOU!

Sturdy lift
Can't believe the sturdiness of this lift. It has helped us so much. Was fairly easy to put together. Done in an hour and I am not good at that. Very pleased. The only thing I wish I had noticed is that the base does not allow you to narrow it to go through some doors. We can not get it in bathroom, but we have narrow door. For the price, I did not expect this nice of a lift. WOuld have expected to pay over $1000. Would highly recommend.

Overall a great device!
Very, very happy with this stand assist. I no longer have to depend on my son or brother-in-law to help me put my husband to bed. I finally wake up with no pain from lifting my husband! It works beautifully. The only thing I would point out is that the back set of wheels don't "clear" some chairs. I had to buy new, taller legs for his recliner so that it would slide under the recliner. But overall, I love this device!

Essential for Patient with Limited Mobility
My husband is 6'8" and unable to stand for very long. So he pulls himself up onto this, and I easily move him to bathroom, kitchen or other location in the house. I don't have to transfer him to a wheelchair and then transfer him again to the toilet, etc. I also use this to help him dress. This has saved me from trying to lift him. I was able to easily assemble this myself in less than an hour. The assembly directions were easy to follow and all pieces easily fit. We've also been using this to increase my husband's strength and ability to control sitting (not just dropping into a chair). I don't think I could keep my husband home without this. A patient would need at least some upper body strength.

Lightweigh with great features
This lift is useful to help my mother to stand up. She can use it daily to help her to go to toilet. She likes it.

BUT it is a great product and dont hesitate to buy iit helps strengthen the upper part of the person body & mom is doing great. Keeps improving.
I got this for a 94 yr old mother who had a heart attack 1 yr ago and cannot walk but is very strong. She can pull herself up with this and it has made it easier for us to transport her around. However. we have a couple obstacles to over come and cannot get any help or advice as to what to do. We have a metal ramp that when pulling down the ramp it bottoms out we believe because of it being flat and the weight will not allow us to continue so we therefore have to have more than one person available to help lift over that problem area and it was meant to be able to have one person move while the other stands. Wish there is a way to fix this Its a matter of somehow getting it lifted just maybe 2 inches higher so it clears. Have been looking for a solution but none yet. GREAT PRODUCT!!!
