Keep me out of your war with Google
I bought this product as an all-in-one media streaming device. Seems to work decently with my DirecTV now, Hulu and Netflix but you are unable to download Google Play or YouTube app. You can however go directly to their website through their browser. But if you do go to those websites through your browser and you have movies that you purchased from Google Play you will just get an error message can't play this type of file. So basically you have to get all your movies and purchase them through Amazon if you want to be able to watch them. If I would have known this I would not have thrown away $110. Also there ad show someone saying, hey Alexa play such and such a song and that song comes on but when I did this it just plays a sample, so I think they left out the part where you have to buy Amazon music to do this which is kind of understandable seeing as there are licensing issues to deal with but let's make that clear before people purchase it and not make it look like you can just listen to any old song anytime you want right out of the box.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

The best streaming device available, to include their stick devices with the new remote
I have 6 tv's with 1 - apple tv and 4 roku devices. Saw that the latest remote had previous channel and MUTE which is very important to me. I do not listen to the obnoxious commercials. I also figured I could use this cube to replace my echo disk and use the disk at another location. This item is outstanding compared with the Roku and Apple. On the negative side, I am disappointed on the recording, using PSVUE, in that for it to work on an existing channel that is being recorded, you have to start from the beginning, then FF to where you want. I noticed I had to change the channel, then go to the guide to select channel I want to get prompted to continue live or start from the beginning. Compared with the apple, you can immediately go back from a channel if it is already being recorded. This is $100 cheaper than the Apple TV, and it has the Mute, which makes it well worthwhile to me. Apple TV does have previous channel which works similar to Cube. I now wish I bought the Amazon for all of the other TV's, but the new Remote just became available last October/Nov. NOTE: I noticed that many of the Cube's for sale had the old remote. Great product at a great Value.
The Fire Cube is better than the Fire Stick because it has a better processor built in and more memory. This is my second one for the second TV. This is really great for use with older Non-Smart TVs because they become smart TVs with the Fire Cube connected to them. Best stream device of all time,
Pros: love the option of not having to use the voice remote in order to tune to a program even when the tv is off. it can conveniently be placed anywhere. Great stream easy to install. Great picture. Yes, I am thing about getting three more. We prefer streaming quite a bit more than broadcast station and cable. It gives us a lot more options then the other tv watching choices. We are having our cable plan reduced from $198 a month. We just pay the one time fee for the fire cube and the much lower cost of just internet alone coming into the house. Great Deal.

Happily surprised.

Cube works great! Hoping next update allows for YouTube TV
I love the voice commands. I liked my Roku streaming stick I used before. I hope Amazon's next update will allow me to get YouTube TV. I can get regular YouTube now but I do miss YouTube TV. The cube works great!Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

Works as expected. Nice package.
Works as expected. Would have got 5 stars except it comes on and then starts over after a second or two. Don't understand why this happens. When you use it with Alexa and you have a complicated audio system it can't handle the multiple inputs. But using a basic connection to a TV HDMI input all is well.
