Correct Duplicate Replacement for Rheem Water Heater
Had somewhat of a hard time finding the correct replacement for our Rheem Marathon water heater. The know nothings at two major hardware stores along wiyh Home Depot will carelessly claim that the generic brand elements they sell fit and function in ALL major brand water heaters. Though the Rheem water heaters are sold at Home Depot the store stooges will give the customer bad information and sell the wrong replacement parts. These two purchased elements (top and bottom) looked to be identical to the factory installed units that were removed. After installation, we tweeked the top and bottom thermostat settings to a temp of about 105 degrees Farenheit. There is now again good hot water. Don't waste your valuable time and effort running around to these annoying stores conversing with arrogant minimum wage dimwits. Easily buy these heater elements here and have them in a couple of days.
