happy birthday to me
I finally broke down and got myself a metal pad. It works great. It did take some getting used to as I have been playing on my old red octane soft pad for many years. My baby finally conked out. But it was time for an upgrade. fact shipping.

DDR Metal Dance Pad
I have waited several years to get the kids out of the house so that I can start DDRing. BUT I needed my own pad so This is the best one on the market that I have found so far and plays quite well. Looking forward to many hours of punishment on myself.

Good for the money
For the money its the ideal metal pad. It's not gonna move around. Does feel stiff and requires the arrows to be fully pressed down instead of touched like the arcade pad. It can handle a good amount of weight. It will for sure need to be broken in. I'm not am expert player or play on Hard. I mostly play Light or Medium. So this pad will be good for beginners to average players. The frame is metal and the arrows are plastic/plexiglass.

The pad itself is fine, but...
The pad is just as I expected. It will to be broken in, but it is a good pad. I play on Expert level, so I need something durable. However, I am on my third control box now, and the third has just died. As such, I'm going to need to find another place to get a control box. The pad is good, but the control boxes are faulty.

Time to Dance Dance!
Over great pad build qaulity. It was delivered in a padded box which is much appreciated. The pad and buttons have great response. The lights that come on when dancing make the experience even more fun. I have only been using the pad for about a month, so Im hoping it holds up over time. I saw some comment about the adapter that connects the pad to the system qaulity. Unless you are swinging it around like a lasso, you shouldn't have issues with the connection or cord.

Great pad bad control box
The dance pad is great. But I had to control boxes fail. I ended up building my own control box with an old controller and it's been great since then.

DDR Controller - Arcade Style
This is a very high quality product for the most reasonable price I have seen. It is quiet and even has red lights around the arrow buttons when stepped upon! The pad on the bottom cushions impact as well as makes this controller slip resistant! Works well on carpet and hard surface. 10/10 would recommend! Looks just like the picture on the listing, came packaged very well. Speedy shipping!

Terrible quality
The buttons only work half the time you step on them. Very disappointed in the pad. Very expensive and very low quality. I bought two and they are both like this.
