The sequel retains the same look and feel as the original while adding new features to give players more choices in managing their teams. Both arcade and simulation play styles are available, with the latter expanding the roster size from 11 to 17 athletes; incorporating both injuries and fatigue; and recording team and league leader statistics throughout the season. This and Blades of Steel
are still the best hockey games, and two of the best sports titles period. The gameplay feels very fast...just tons of fun to play alone or even better with a friend. Not being weighed down by being a sports sim, it's pure arcade speed. Easy to play, semi difficult to master. The graphics aren't great by today's standards but are good enough that the game is still very fun to play.
